Insurance agents get 40-90% commission on every client he persuades to sign up from the first year. This commission is known as premium. Suppose he gets 90%. From the second year he gets 5% commission on the renewal of insurance policy of that client. For instance, Jonson is an insurance agent. He persuades a client to sign up to any insurance company. 

If the client pay $200 per months as premium, he pays $200 x 12 = $2400 in the first year. So according to the 90% commissions, Jonson gets $2160 since (2400 x 90% = 2160). If any insurance agent can sale at least a single insurance per week, he can earn $112,320 from the first year.

Qualifications


To be an insurance agent academic qualification doesn’t play any effective roll. Earlier insurance companies looked for graduates, but it is not mandatory. Moreover experience is not essential here. If you have any that’s good, but not it’s ok. Every insurance company has training program for their insurance agents. Here they agents are taught how to sell insurance by convincing people.
